Guitar lessons in Middlesbrough.

What you can learn.

Start with comfortable playing habits, finding notes and changing between chords. As your confidence grows, you can connect those chords with strumming patterns and play through songs you enjoy.

Already playing? Your lessons can focus on cleaner chord changes, timing, fingerpicking or lead playing. We’ll talk about the music you like and the parts of your playing you want to develop.

Your first guitar lesson.

Tell us whether you’re starting from scratch, returning to guitar or already playing regularly. We’ll find a starting point that suits you and work towards music you’re excited to play.

We’ll design your lessons around your goals, interests and experience. Whether you’re learning for fun, building confidence or working towards a performance, the approach can grow with you.

Visit the academy.

Find us at The Annexe, Cargo Fleet Offices, Cargo Fleet, South Bank, Middlesbrough TS6 6XH. Free on-site parking is available.

Do I need my own instrument?

No. We have instruments at the academy for you to use during lessons. You’re welcome to bring your own, but there’s no requirement to do so. If you’re thinking of buying an instrument, we’re happy to offer free advice, whether or not you’re a student with us.

Ready to get started?

Tell us who the lessons are for, any experience and what you’d like to learn. We’ll talk through your goals and arrange the next step. Payments and cancellations are managed through our My Music Staff student portal.
